National Windsurfing Week at West Pennine
As part of national windsurfing week WPSC is organising a weekend of windsurfing activity – there will be something for everyone
whether you’re a first timer, a regular sailor or coming back to the sport.
Anybody can have a go at the events – the only serious racing will be the NWWA racing on Sunday – and they’re a
friendly if competitive crowd so you could give that a go too!
Saturday
o Fun competition – Speed, slalom racing, light wind freestyle, paddle race - depending on the wind, prizes from the NWW team
o Windsurfing “car-boot sale” – buy, sell and swap your gear
o Formal and informal coaching
o BBQ
o Live band
o Overnight camping available – Free to members and day visitors
Sunday
