Gorge walking in South / West Wales

I'm planning a trip to Wales to try Gorge Walking with some friends, never been before. Where would be a good place and who should I organise it through, I know Black Mountain Activities organise it......any other companies I should try or any body got any advice on how to get a really "top" day of gorge walking in South / West Wales.

I don't know of any centres that do it, but theres a new one near Tregaron that might do. I'm sure some of the North Wales outdoor activity centres do gorge walking too.

I've never used a centre for such things, we just get in there and do it...but it is best to have someone show you the way and which bits are 'navigable'.

Whenever we are exploring new gorges and don't know what to expect we tend to do it with full climbing gear and lots of rope to make sure we don't get cut off and stuck in the gorge with no escape route...

I know some pretty good gorges around here, and if I had the necessary insurance would offer to show you one.

Al.
