Southy-Westy France Heat and Wetties

Going to lacanau ocean near Bordeux to bodyboard this year. Can't wait, although its going to be crowded, hopefully i will get some boarding in, plus see the ASP surf world championship in august there.

Can anyone please tell me what kind of wetties if any i should wear during july and august, would i be ok in just boardies and rash vest?

Don't see why not.... I saw a bloke in nothing but speedo's in the irish sea back in March.
(He must have been bleedin freezin tho!!!)

good good.

some people are just too crazy, i dont know how they can stand the cold sometimes

Anyone had any experience of surf down there and where to go when its crowded?
