Shell Island or Barmouth

I'm planning a few days camping in N/W wales at the start of August... and of course I need to be able to play with my toys...
Landboarding and Kitewing/Dirtsurfer

I realise its going to be busy everywhere, but any suggestions as to where to go would be great. Shell Island looks good and I've been once before. but any other suggestions would be gratefully received.

ps: I need to be able keep the family happy too.

The whole coast is great, Aberdyfi has awesome stretches of beach, watch out for the summer crowds however. Have you tried harlech?

I went to Rosneigr on May bank holiday annd it was pretty cool. There is a good camp site and the surf shop is welll stocked. FCS are based there and Alex has a pretty cool cafe. Worth a try.
