Kenya dirt cheap Anyone

Anyone fancy a trip out to Kenya March 5th airfare only £149 from gatwick and £204 from Manchester return for one week. Shapeshifter on Flexi forum posted this and I have had alook, he can arrange beachside accommodation for £15 per night, looks the dogs danglies.

20kts everyday.

Need to do more research, but this is way cheaper than Egypt.

Not necessarily.. I did Egypt last year for £125 for flights and accommodation. ... I think we were lucky with the flights though, but can still get accommodation there pretty cheaply... £80 for a villa for a week, so divide that by 3-4 and its a cheap as it gets.

Kenya sounds cool though and makes a change from Egypt which sounds pretty common these days.!

Twenty knots croos on, flat azure inside reef and upto 25ft surf beyond the reef thats the dogs danglies. And me and Spooker are booked to go.

Could have it's bad points too, we're staying in a concrete shed with a grass roof full of Kenyan wildlife, rabid monkeys, everyone wants to sell you a wooden carving of giraffe, malaria and yellow fever. Still it's going to hot, white sand and warm bath like water.

My advice save Kenya for the winter. This time of year wind can big but so is the surf (20 + feet), although wind is good it comes from the south east. But I notice the flights are not cheap at the moment. Ithink the safaris acn be good it may be about now the wilderbeast migrate. If you are serious look fro resorts south of Mombasa on Diani Beach, my opinion these are better than Nyali the ones you see advertised most (AI) beaches are very busy with beach boys and alot of hassle.

I got my flights from this company when I went earlier in the year http://www.charterflights.co.uk/ I think cost for 14 days now are about £600 it cost £174 in Feb.

We kited from this hotel and ate here every day but it was pricey to stay.

As Neil has said enjoy the Euro sun and wind, although it has not been to good in parts of France neither.

I hear the Greek islands have it hot and some big thermal winds every day at the moment, that could be a good option look at Naxos. I'm off to Turkey in ten days, Kath has already gone so here hoping for some wind.

Mark I was planning on a trip this weekend but the wind on XC looks as if it has just expired. I'm been run a bit ragged at work with all this flooding and may have to work the weekend too - fish just keep wandering off the main river and need my help.

Reecey the post was originally from February earlier this year, Mark resurrected from the vault. So there is no trip planned at the moment. Although there has been some interest from a few of the Massif to plan apossible trip for next year, so keep an eye on the posts next Feb. To get the best deals as we did you need to be able to go at short notice.
