Hunny Run Sunny ?

As saturday is looking a bit variable I was thinking of doing a run to Hunstanton on Sunday.
Fancy some flat water for a change.

Anyone else interested ?

Will post on here again late saturday to confirm.

High tide is at 9.50 am..

Can't sail for an hour and a half before or after high tide at Hunstanton.. XC says its dropping off for 12.00 so i'm not sure it would be worth the trip

Yep..shredded my 2004 nitro 17m, that was at Old Hunstanton on a very low tide. Serves me right for ditching it, then pulling the recon to relaunch it right on the muscle beds

You would be able to sail from about11 onwards but I've just checked the wind again and it has swung round and is now forcast to blow southerly all day. Sat is now looking better, High tide 9.20...24 kts at 9.00...19kts by 12.00 and 14 kts by 3.00 all W-NWerly with sun forcast for the afternoon. Of course, the way the fronts have been comming in, it could be a different picture by the mornin
