I couldn't get to Borth!

Tried today but roads otherside of Mac were flooded and only 4WDs getting through. Tried dovey but floods under Mac bridge with a car stuck in the middle so ended up going to Barmouth which was fantastic! Lots more wind than expected, some great little lagoons, bombed across to Fairbourne and some nice little waves to play in, loads of fun!

Tim, Borth was rocking today, shame you couldn't make it, but I'm sure you had fun.

I had to drive through the flood jus t before Mac on the way home, it wasn't that bad. Reecey drove though it on the way to the beach too.

See you soon.

There was a massive queue when I was there and this guy told me only 4WDs were getting through so I thought I would try elsewhere.
I bet borth was going off, barmouth was too, shame I had noone to share it with.
They can't have many kitesurfers there as the tourists kept taking piccies of me on the water!
Catch you soon

Yes,masive floods on the road between Mac and the water wheel thingy. When i got to the main flood, a 106 was being towed out by a tractor then some nutter in a Vauxhall tried to race through and stopped in the middle. Me and a few others went through at a slower pace and made it.PHEW. It was the same on the way home. Spooker and me went through, cars were turning around and in Mac the police had closed the road and sending cars back. Quite busy at Borth with kiters.
