Diesel Spill
The diesel spill at Aberystwyth Harbour has apparently spread north now and had made it as far as Borth yesterday:

My wetsuit did smell a little odd after my session yesterday, but I didn't think much of it as it always smells and it was a second
hand one from Leigh so would have had an unusual fragrance anyway, but Graham's wife said he smelt like an oil refinery when he got
home too.
"Public Health Wales have advised that whilst the odour is unpleasant it isn't harmful to health, but Ceredigion Council have posted
signs advising people not to bathe or surf while the oil disperses."

the fact that diesel is carcinogenic has nothing to do with it then!

Had a quick blast last night after work, but can't say that I smelt any different from normal after though!
Was stupidly windy!

are you sure it was a diesel smell tim, it was windy afterall
