Borth is full of emergency services and people have been air-lifted out of the caravan sites. It's mad in Borth and Dolybot with loads
of houses flooded.

I set off at 8am from Llanafan to try and catch the remaining wind this morning... but didn't make it past Aberystwyth. Roads closed.
Sat in a jam for 45 minutes trying to get through town but gave up and went home wondering what was going on. Couldn't believe it when
I saw News 24. Glad I gave up. Arriving at Ynyslas and not getting out on the water is one thing, but failing to even get there due
to the weather is a novelty... Having said that I had another first last week when someone elses gazebo wrapped itself around the van
at 3am whilst camping on the Gower last week. I love British summertime.

Mad thing was, we were sat in the garden having a BBQ with friends by 2pm and you wouldn't even know it had been raining. I little
different to my morning run surrounded by emergency services with waist deep water everywhere and then baking and delivery cakes to
those affected!
Friends that had 2 foot of water running through their houses have now said that the waters have pretty much cleared and people managed
to get to our house from Aberystwyth in the afternoon so some roads are open, but it's going to take a while to clear up the mess for
some.

sorry for the people in the troubles. as far as the kitesurfing went saturday afternoon was epic.full sun WSW and some nice swell left
over from fridays nonesense.; a lovely ending to a rubbish weather week for me.and then the drive home: went up through talybont and
poor people with their furniture out by the road drying.
