Had a go with Gareth's Kitewing... 4.8m. It looks a little like a hang-glider wing, that you simply hold onto the frame underneath the wing with the wing above your head, jump onto the mt. board and then bring the wing down to about 45¬? and off you go, sheeting in a little like a windsurfer. Really easy (especially for windsurfer) and pretty good fun.... Being on land it's gonna hurt when you come off though.

presumably you can use the wing for lift in jumps once you get good at it too.

is that the red wing that somebody was out on the other day? they had a radsail too i think it was. looked good fun

Yep, thats the one.... It was good, but at about £400 I don't think I'll be getting one just yet.

Its more like a windsurf sail really. And I guess if you compare it to that then it isn't that expensive as it comes complete with the sail, 'mast' and 'boom'.

It seemed like a pretty good package really.
